What is the Working Principle of Sieve Bend Screen
1. Definition and classification of sieve bend screens
Sieve bend screens, also known as hydraulic screens, water vertical screens, curved screens, etc., are simple, efficient and easy-to-maintain pollution interception devices that use perforated materials to intercept suspended matter in liquids.
According to their structural and functional characteristics, hydraulic screens can be divided into fixed plane sieve bend screens, fixed curved sieved bend screens and hydraulic rotary screens.
These different types of sieve bend screens have shown excellent performance in dealing with different water quality conditions and treatment requirements.

2. Working principle of hydraulic screens
The working principle of hydraulic screens is mainly based on the gravity, centrifugal force and filtering effect of the water flow.
When the wastewater to be treated is evenly distributed on the screen surface through the water distribution device above the equipment, the solid suspended matter is intercepted by the screen, and the filtered clean water flows out from the gaps in the screen.
Under the action of the water flow, the solid matter is gradually pushed to the lower end of the screen plate for discharge, thereby achieving the purpose of solid-liquid separation.
In this process, the Sieve bend screen not only effectively reduces the concentration of suspended matter in the water, but also reduces the load of subsequent treatment processes, and protects the normal operation of equipment such as water pumps, pipelines and instruments.
